Performance Pay at our Regional Sites
“People working with us can expect adequate pay for doing their job and special rewards for extraordinary work.” From the Pearson Code of Business Conduct Pearson is pleased to offer Performance Pay on our regionally-scored projects. This is a way for us to financially reward those scorers who contribute in an exceptional way to the quality and timeliness of our projects. Although our aim is to offer Performance pay on all regionally-scored projects there are some projects that have been excluded due to the requirements of the project. For those projects that are included in Performance Pay monies are paid out to the top thirty-percent of the scoring pool on each test item. The rankings are determined by a formula combining Validity (accuracy), Number of Reads, and Rate. Scorers are kept informed of their place in the weekly rankings via posted spreadsheets…with confidentiality protected by the use of assigned scorer numbers rather than names. The top three tiers (30%) are rewarded with amounts of $50, $30, or $20 for a full week of day-time scoring (dollar amounts halved for evening projects).
