Pearson Payroll Goes Green!
Effective the October 31, 2008 pay date, if you have a direct deposit via your bank or a pay card, you will no longer receive a pay statement in the mail. You will be able to access your pay information via iPay at your convenience. Registration is free, secure, and easy (see iPay under the Featured Links). Why has Pearson made this decision? - Pearson mails out approximately 300,000 pay statements and over 20,000 W-2s each year. As an organization, we have an environmental responsibility to minimize the use of resources wherever possible. - Too often, pay statements are returned due to incorrect addresses (please be sure to update your information with HR if you've moved) or simply get lost in the mail. Lost statements or lost W-2s may put your personal information at risk.
- The cost of printing and mailing pay statements continues to escalate. This expense can be better managed and a significant savings realized by using the online tool. It is available at your convenience and is even ready one day prior to pay date to review.
- You will have ready access to all of your pay statements and W-2s for the past 3 years of employment at Pearson.
